An earthquake with an intensity of 5.6 points was registered on Lake Baikal near the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye, according to GUMCHS in the Irkutsk region.
"Today at 06:54 (01.54 Moscow time), a seismic event was registered, the epicenter in the waters of the lake.Baikal, 36 km from the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoe. The intensity at the epicenter is 5.6 points. The palpability in Irkutsk is 3 points," the message says.
It is noted that there are no damages or casualties. All infrastructure facilities are operating normally.
