The volumes of the discharges in the cities and industrial centers of the BNT, according to the statistics reporting data, are presented in Tables 3.3.1-3.3.4 at the Figures below.
In 2012, within the borders of the BNT there was generated 83478.4 thou tons of the waste materials (in 2010 -- 34859.3). In 2012, the industrial enterprises of the CEA BNT generated 945.7 tons of industrial and consumption waste materials (in 2010, there was generated a significantly lower volume of the waste - 531.2 thou tons). Within the BNT territory there was generated 82532.2 tons of the industrial and consumption waste (in 2010 -- 29759.9 thou tons of the waste materials).
As the Table show, in 2012, as compared to 2010 the anthropogenic impact on the environment of the Baikal Natural Territory from the industrial enterprises, located within the Baikal Natural Territory, there was an increase in the volumes of the discharges. In 2012, the volume of the industrial waste generation increased due to the increase in the volume of the stripping soils.
Due to the growth of the industrial complex within the region, in particular, the extraction industrial industries, the waste volumes are likely to increase.
